Instagram is a huge platform for marketers to connect emotionally with people all over the world. The Marketing Science team is seeking an experienced quantitative research professional to lead the strategy and execution of groundbreaking research on how to best advertise on Instagram. This research will drive recommendations on advertising media planning and creative development best practices on Instagram. Research methods will include mostly internal statistical analyses on observed behavior with some third party survey and focus group work as a supplement. The research conducted will be instrumental in informing the Instagram advertising product strategy, recommending advertising strategies to clients, producing white papers, and developing new measurement methodologies used across the digital advertising industry. Applicants should be able to think strategically and build a roadmap for advertising research, be highly quantitative with deep statistical expertise, and be excited about working on the Instagram advertising business.
