Millions of people use Facebook and
Instagram everyday to connect and share with the people, causes and brands they
care about. Facebook and Instagram also reach thousands of marketers each year
across all different types of events and experiences. You can play a key part
in leading the strategy and implementation of these events as key player on the
North American events marketing team, heading up our events marketing for
Instagram. We are looking for a events and industry marketing lead who will
manage Instagram’s presence at both mid-size industry events as well as
large-scale tent poles such as Cannes, Ad Week, SXSW, etc. You will be
responsible for contributing to Instagram’s brand activation strategy at events
in support of overall sales goals, marketing plans and key messages before,
during and after the event. You will also work closely with our events
marketing team to integrate Instagram at joint industry events and tent poles.
The successful candidate will have a B2B marketing industry background that
includes developing and producing event marketing activations that map back to
sales goals and brand objectives. Experience with positioning, messaging, event
planning, contract negotiating, and cross-functional relations that ensure
Instagram is positioned as one of the leading marketing platforms in the world
is a must. This position is full-time, and is based in our New York or Menlo
Park offices.
